I love storytelling. I was so excited when one of my favorite event producers was hosting a free workshop on storytelling. With their support I bravely got on the stage, and have been developing my craft and meeting amazing humans ever since.
ChaChanna: The Storyteller Who Never Left the Stage
Once upon a time, in February 2015, ChaChanna bravely stepped onto a stage to share her very first story. Since then, she's been telling tales non-stop, as if the stage has magical glue keeping her there!
ChaChanna’s had the pleasure of telling personal narratives in various enchanting venues across New York and Connecticut—and is looking forward to expanding her territory.
But she’s not just a solo performer. She's a former president of Northeast Storytelling, a Connecticut Storytelling Center member, and a performer with Ubuntu Storytellers.
If you have yet to be dazzled by her vibrant stories or seduced by the caress of her melodious voice, fear not! You can still hear the soothing tones of her voice on This Is Your Time with ChaChanna, a weekly podcast. Here, she shares stories and sprinkles advice like fairy dust, encouraging listeners to discover their own happiness, wholeness, and joy.
Also, if you're ever near The Westport Library in Westport, Connecticut, you might find ChaChanna hosting Storytelling Sundays. It’s a welcoming open mic space where everyone can share their stories, whether they are beginner or seasoned tellers. Who knows, you might be the next storyteller stuck on stage with ChaChanna!
